I was under the impression they did but have just tried to order a fridge. It came up with order unavailable to your delivery address or may be out of stock. I tried 3 different models and it came up with the same message so I assume it is the delivery address that is the problem. Anybody know if they no longer deliver to Shetland? Thanks. However, be aware that not all manufacturers have service agents up here. We have a Hotpoint fridge freezer bought from John Lewis but they could not service it if it went wrong, in or out of guarantee and since there is not a Hotpoint agent in Shetland, that means you are taking a slight gamble with some manufacturers. I usually do buy from Geordie Robertson's but this time there was a choice of 1 for the size I needed. ll Posted February 10, 2019 Report Share Posted February 10, 2019 If George Robertson’s do not stock the model you are after, can they not get it in? I’ve seen on two occasions, getting something specific ordered and were always excellent on price, plus added peace of mind in case any proper back up is required. Many appliances are still repairable but it is the overall cost of repair that makes it uneconomical. The repair man has to be paid for the time it takes to identify the fault , specialist equipment ,order replacement bits ,fitting those new parts and premises to work from ect,ect ,it all adds up.
