They had their day, they reached their padded cell by date, and they went......and TGFT in most cases. Like Victrorian Circus Freak Shows they have no purpose now unless to satisfy morbid curiosity and provide low grade entertainment value. Maybe it should bve a pre-condition of accepting the office, that upon vacating it they agree to be stuffed, mounted and displayed in a glass case somewhere out of sight and out of folk's way.
