Classic Ferguson effect

Ferguson effect is when police have less vigorous enforcement in situations that might lead to [Political] backlash

If it involves a politically contentious protected groups there is reluctance to intervene and laws are not enforced,

But when "Normal" groups do something the law is fully enforced and this has not gone unnoticed.

local authorities are sympathetic to them, even our politicians have been "Showing Solidarity" with the rioters.

These sympathies lead to selective enforcement of the law as emotional arguments are taken over evidence based ones.

riots will have been slowed down due to reluctance to gather in public but there are infact gatherings in the UK and the probability of these spreading other people who will spread it again is higher.

here is a video of a "protest" in London and a picture from Berlin, In Europe for the most part there has been negligible rioting at the moment.

Here is a quick rundown n the white guy with dreadlocks who said "Were not going to stop until something is done" while parting some copy paste spiel about the minorities he is projecting his vestigial paternal instincts onto.

The university intellectuals play an important role in carrying out the System's trick. Though they like to fancy themselves independent thinkers, the intellectuals are the most oversocialized, the most conformist, the tamest and most domesticated, the most pampered, dependent, and spineless group today. As a result, their impulse to rebel is particularly strong. But, because they are incapable of independent thought, real rebellion is impossible for them. Consequently they are suckers for the System's trick, people enjoy the rebelling without ever having to challenge the System's basic values." -Ted Kaczynski

In Europe its just rent seeking complainers seizing upon the opportunity,

but that could spread the virus and might give the government an excuse to have a second, third or fourth Lock-down if they feel like it.

Searches for "Shetland" on places like Zoopla and Rightmove spiked during the lockdown, so don't think there wont be a potential visitor or 2 exposed to these gatherings and lockdown is imposed by edict from the mainland so it WILL affect us one way or another

the US we are seeing why the US has a second amendment and why it is so popular, due to the riots and more invasions first time buyers of guns are through the roof and the political right is making gains because of it.

"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon Bonaparte

"Antifa is a gift to the right" - Noam Chomsky

look at the medias reaction to lock-down protests and the more recent ones, Notice anything?

Guess who just got back today
Them wild-eyed germs that had been away
Haven't changed that much to say
But man, I still think them Rats are crazy
They were askin' if you were around
How you was, where you could be found
Told 'em you were livin' downtown

US Center for Disease control director seeing more suicides, drug overdoses than COVID deaths among high schoolers

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/cdc-director-seeing-more-suicides-023823567.html

Coronavirus deaths by age in a non-lockdown contry(Sweden)

7acad4f89b1500aaf10c1fa446c64c76273b76ce

Younger than 59 3.6%

Older than 60 96.4%

Was it worth sacrificing the futures of the under 40s and condemning them to perpetual recession so that the over 60s can live another 4 years(on luxury pensions furnished by the screwed over)

During the great recession and great depression there was never a fear customers wouldn't be allowed to use a business so once people had money again people started investing now people will be far more hesitant,
lets not forget that during the "Credit Crunch" people started spending less,

Lifting and reinstating of Lockdown constantly postponed If they don't fear the virus they fear the government what a lovely 3 pronged approach to the recovery being a total nonstarter.

Look what Westminster has done for us all regarding Covid-19:

9. £25m of public money given to Luxe Lifestyle Ltd, to supply garments for biological or chemical protection to the NHS. According to Companies House, the business was incorporated by fashion designer Karen Brost in November 2018. It appears to have no employees, no assets and no turnover.

11. £10m of public money given to Medco Solutions Ltd, incorporated on 26 March (three days after lockdown) with a share capital of just £2, for PPE that never appeared.
12. £1.1m of public money given to Bristol shoemaker Toffeln Ltd, had seemingly never supplied any PPE whatsoever in the past, for PPE that never appeared.
13.£825,000 of public money given to MGP Advisory, described as a venture and development capital business that was in danger of being struck off the companies register for failing to file accounts, for no one knows what...

Meanwhile the nurses and carers, of whom over 350 have died whilst trying to save over 75,000 lives that have now been lost, had to resort to wearing bin bags that they had to buy out of their own money.

Feel proud Boris, feel proud.

Surely whoever sanctioned this deal would have checked that it met the required standards.

Not really the government, sure the PM did not go out of his way to inspect the masks but authorized someone else to do it, problem more of a departmental ***~ up.

PM cannot be held responsible for everyone's incompetence

Someone should be named and held responsible.

If a driver, drives recklessly you do not blame the company boss,or do you.

It's not incompetence it's pure and simple corruption, instead of going through the proper NHS procurement channels the Tories went to their friends and donors in the city with a wad of taxpayers money and asked them to source some PPE with predictable results, these shell companies have no experience, no staff, no capital or assets all they've got is very lucrative connections with those who are holding the purse strings.

The same happened with the Brexit ferry contract and Seaborne freight you should google it, with Brexit and Covid these people are making an absolute fortune at our expense.

I find it incredible how anyone votes for these crooks.
