JustMe
Spotted this in the Shetland News headlines: http://www.shetland-news.co.uk/pages/news%20stories/10_2006/web_opens_for_community_groups.htm £63,000???! How on earth did they manage to spend that much? From the Shetland News sitePaul Kelsall, a community portal development worker, said: “The website will become a key mechanism for developing high-value community enquiries, supporting community processes and developing communities’ reputation.†Spent on "development workers". I suspect that the £63,000 is the funding for a year or more rather than just set up costs.
Pooks
My mouth did drop when I heard that is cost £63000 to set up the website. I am hoping that it is a successful project because community groups paying £50 a year will take a long time to pay it back.
