The black line on top is a triangle, which fools you. The two small triangles have different angles. The blue has a larger angle than the purple triangle. Because the two angles are run from one to the other, it's not a straight line i.e. a hypotenuse. The first "triangle" has an edge or "hypotenuse" that is concave; the second is convex. The thing i notice is that the intercept of the two triangles appears correctly placed in the first one, but i the second they do not actually meet and the perceived intercept does not intercept the intercept of the x and y-axis......... .........Which would suggest that the triangles are smaller in the second one, allowing for the empty square..... ...if you intercept what i mean.
