ArabiaTerra
One down, two to go. Rumsfeld is toast! Democrats capture the House and Senate. I just hope they have the balls to launch a full and comprehensive investigation into the odious little turd.

Fjool
...nothing wil be done.. only thing is they do seem far more enviromental then the reps They are just both sides of the same coin; lobbied by the same groups, funded by the same billionaires and looking out for themselves. In this country we have a similar situation where each major party is as dumb as the other and you're forced to choose between one set of bad policies, or a different set of equally bad policies. Heimdal
Comparing Republicans and Democrats is like comparing Pepsi and Coke, unless you see the label, you can't tell the difference.

Ally
While to us they may seem like two sides of the same coin, to many Americans the difference between Democrats and Republicans is quite stark. A cursory glance at one of the political forums i sometimes read illustrates this. http://www.perspectives.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=4 One need only compare the foreign policy of the Clinton administration with the current one to see how different the two parties are. Can you honestly claim that an America run by, say, Hilary Clinton would have the same world view as one run by Bush?
Fjool
You're right, of course, Ally. My comment really stems from the fact that the real power appears to lie in the money behind the political parties. Recent events appear to suggest that Hillary would have a very slim chance of becoming president because her world view isn't compatiable.
