Pooks
Sounds like spam to me. Mr Ronn386 if you are indeed a real person caring for the likes of us then you might want to reply to this thread. If you do not then I will personally consider you another uncaring spambot who has successfully added another tick on my Atheism chart.
Njugle
Has anyone cared enough to share this with you? "Hast thou ceased beating thine wife, yes or no?" Suggesting that none but the christian evangelist care for others is not an acceptable attitude in life. It strays toward conceit which would, of course, be sinful. Before addressing all the points raised in your topic ronn, i concur with Pooks and request that you confirm that you are not a spammer. Have a nice day. DavyR
Hi all, I normally lurk in here, but thought I’d respond to this one. Mr “Ronald Grossi†is a well-known self-proclaimed “Internet Evangelist†who posts stuff like this on lots of bulletin boards / forums etc. He has even had his own websites banned from hosting companies that specialise in hosting Christian websites. They are not that keen on him either. If he posted this on my board, it would be deleted and he would be banned. Happy New Year. DR
Njugle
That's a very helpful bit of information DavyR. Thanks very much for that. This thread may well be "spirited away" if that is the case. Cheers.
JustMe
Just had a look at the few....relatively few......google hits I got for this guy and if, as looks possible, he just makes one posting to any board to spread his (God's?) message then I see no harm in it. After all we do not have to read the whole thing.

Fjool
Hey hey, now that's not fair... I thought these forum boards didn't delete any topics? It is valid to delete spam.
McFly
Hey hey, now that's not fair... I thought these forum boards didn't delete any topics? We only do it as a last resort Marjolein. We've deleted topics before, when they break the forum's terms and conditions, and I'm sure we'll have cause to do it again.....unfortunately
Njugle
^ what he said^ I apologise for my poor choice of phrase Marjolein, i was merely being flippant. It is legitimate to delete spam, however, and it is an awkward issue for an individual such as this to join the forum, place one post of his opinion and then leave, never to come back again. That is not what a forum should be about really and could be construed as spam, regardless of it's content. Compare it to your living room. If this guy ran in, shouted "praise be, etc" and ran out again without so much as a by-your-leave you might think ill of him.Shetlink is a virtual living room. Marjolein
Yeah I do love edible spam. But I get what you mean now about deleting it because it is spam (Not the edible kind)
