dB
A mountain bike track is a great idea. Shouldn't cost very much to organise. And if you could hire bikes, it could be a touristy type thing to do aswell (i don't have a bike either) Excellent idea.

joshua767
We should really get some kind of snooker center on the mainland, easily accessibly for everyone. Could really boost the sport in Shetland. I know there is the one in Whiteness, but you have to be 18 to be a member, also its not close enough to Burra. :
Guest Anonymous
maybe lottery funding could help social clubs in village halls promote snooker , pool, darts etc , kinda thing folk actually do anyway
snookerMCloopy
maybe lottery funding could help social clubs in village halls promote snooker , pool, darts etc , kinda thing folk actually do anyway Yeah excellent idea, use the money for something useful like this which is popular in the whole Shetland especially the villages and isles, instead of a skateboard ramp or something which will be used by 5 people twice. I do belive a skateboard ramp or park would be used a lot more than that and by a lot more people.
piggywiggie
We tried a skate place up here. It never got used. A snooker place would be well used.
