Pooks
I believe there was a review in the Times that week, mentioning the oil-slicked crowd (could have been about the time of the Braer). Whether it had anything to do with immense quantities of Guinness being poured over our heads I may never know.

deardron
I think that the Swedish AB/CD is more original because they play their own material in the style of AC/DC. In fact they're really good!!! Check their links: http://www.abcdband.com/ http://on.to/abcd

What terrified me was just as the band (sparticus) got on stage a henny party arrived. Spent the next 30 seconds planning a quick getaway. Don't remeber it being windy though. Thought it was quite a fine night.

Guest Anonymous
Has everyone forgotten The Smiths at the Clickimin in 85? Bit biased but the Durutti Column was one of the best for me. Shooglenifty - their first visit to the Folk Festival when they were new and fresh. Delgadoes in the North Star were great as well.
