Guest Anonymous
Anyone of freres Jackman and the International Elevator's gigs - Tingwall springs to mind; Toxic Ephex in the old cunningsburgh hall - Chaos! - just like Punk rock should be. The Barley Works in the Folk festival club circa 1993 and Shooglenifty the first year they were at folk fest. Re: Shetland Rock Festival - I mind Love&Money and The Bolshoi were headliners - pish poor the pair o' them!

Guest Anonymous
I mind Freres Jackman playing the North Star one hop night, it was a wild night, with a few drunken Mr Blobbies. Anyone else there?
BloomsburyLad
Lets not forget The Primitives in a big tent somewhere outside Lerwick , when a certain young lady that Knight sneaked round the bag of the tent for a piss and promptly proceeded to relieve herself all over the generator, cutting the power and making the pages of the Melody Maker the very next issue. Er, re Julian Cope at Brae Hall, for reasons that I choose to forget, I was dressed up (badly) as Mr Blobby that night and had the pleasure of dancing with Mr Cope in all my spotted pink glory on stage for a minute or two. My finest hour? Probably!
Tomblands
Delgadoes in the North Star were great as well. Twas a cracker. Pulling the tables into the middle of the dancefloor almost made like a caberet style show. I even got a copy of their Fruitmarket bootleg signed by the band. I seem to remember enjoying The Amphetameanies when they played at Brae Hall for the first time (with Alex Johnston/Ferguson/normal surname before he became Alex Kapranos). I do however, have a bootleg of the gig. Sadlly I wis not too young to be there. It was odd but brilliant.
