BigMouth
I've been suffering from cramp in my calfs through the night, so looked on the internet for possible cures. Mine improved by stop taking a medicine which was depleting some vital metal like magnesium or something .....
JustMe
Had the same problem for years until I mentioned it to the doctor and now cramps are no more........quinine sulphate taken as one tablet a night has worked wonders. Prescription only I think.

Prescription only I think. Yes prescription only. Annoying as they are only about 10p each from genuine suppliers on the net compared to over £6 on prescription. I used to have to take them daily for malaria prevention in the jungle. 8O Here
Pooks
A teaspoon of good old salt should sort cramp out. Apparently (most) cramps are caused by a lack of salt in the body. If you try it and it doesn't work then I wouldn't recommend taking salt every night as a precaution.
