My purchase was a rear projection TV out of the small ads in Shetland Times. HUGE screen and only £50. :D Will go nicely in my living room once I have the keys to my house. SWMBO wasn't too pleased till I told her a) how much it cost and B) that she could watch the entire set of M*A*S*H DVD's on it. Went a little crazy and bought a DVD Recorder from eBlag to go with it.

I saw the telly and wondered if it was poorly worded and you were only actually getting a projection screen! sausage, should have phoned for it!

As for your property buy Medziotojas. Will you not be a bit jealous of your neighbours property. It is a lot bigger after all. ;)

Most recent best-buy Panasonic DMR-EX95VEBS

DVD/HD, VHS, built-in Freeview . So easy to record, can start watching a prog after it's started recording, timer doesn't click 'off' when there's a powercut... Ergonomic for me!

Earlier talk of campstoves; I got a Trangia meths stove ages ago- think it was LHD? Stable, efficient, lightweight, very windproof... Very ergonomic- and keep it handy for powercuts in the house.

Morphy Richards Breadmaker - £17 Ebay - never buy shop-bread again!

3 pairs 2.50 reading glasses in hard cases for £11.75- Costco, Aberdeen!

And, those heat&serve meals in the foil packs from the Indian Shop that used to be the butchers; Paneer Tikka Masala- great!!

They do a lot of good stuff there- HUGE jars of olives :)

Nope, just GPRS. Means it'll work almost anywhere. It's either an Orange or T-Mobile sim in it so I was dubious about coverage but it actually works at home where the coverage maps look pretty dodgy. Because of the compression used, it downloads web pages in 5-7 secs. At some techy show email client. Interesting seeing Shetlink on it!

Just bought LED poi for the bairn 'cause it's so dark up here at this time of year. Problem is keeping her in at night now. If you see some UFO's up Waa's way on a fine night don't worry it's just the bairn playing. Love them so much got some UV/LED socks coming over from New Zeland. (How long does that take anyone? They swear they'll be here for xmas.)

The video doesn't really do the poi justice but recommend them as starter poi, especially as they're soo cheap just 1p shy of £10. Plus they don't have to shipped accross the world (which reminds me why is P&P cheaper from NZ than it is from Suffolk?).

I bought a bike from Grantfield on Saturday & I must say I was very impressed with the service I received. :D

I purchased the Breakthrough (Breastcancer) Raleigh 21 speed bike, and they donate all money to BC research not just the 10% as advertised.

I kinda felt bad they will not gain anything from the sale, so I felt I should recommend them as a great place to start if you are in the market for a new bike. :D
