shetlandpeat
I have to agree with SB. It will be an asset to the arts as well as the wider population. I know folk who think the design may be a bit bold but seem to like what it offers. I hope I get a chance to get involved from here.

fusion
Looking better with the building works coming down this weekend. I hope it's not too long to go now, we are missing a lot of good films waiting for the cinema to open.

MuckleJoannie
I heard that the administrator will keep SES going until the contract is finished. @Piggiewiggie There was an article in the Shetland News a peerie while ago saying that they are going for a soft opening ie they're not telling anyone, just hoping we notice when we can go in. nederlander
Looks like Shetland Arts could have had another showing of films at the Garrison. A little disappointed with the lack of information we're getting at the moment, I understand that they are perhaps scared of committing to a date that they can't keep, but any information on plans they have would raise the anticipation levels that little bit more. JordanKZ
Well.. DITT have packed their office back up and clearly stuff is going during next month. No idea what's going on with the cinema stuff though. The entire project seems incredibly non-committal right now.
Muppet
Well Mareel tweeted this a few days ago, so it must be getting close. Cinema screen 1 and 2 installed, projectors now in place: cinema 1 screen is 3 x times the size of The Garrison screen and geared up for 3D!
