Buying Shetland milk is all well and good, but if for health reasons you want skimmed milk, as far as i can see , they dont supply it.

i believe the process involved in skimmed milk is more expensive to produce.

shetland milk is more pricey as well, compared to supermarkets own, but shetland milk is better quality.

cravendale is good, also lasts longer.

The hurdle Tescos have to over come is to get fruit and veg on the shelves before its sell by date, this would make a big difference, compared to what we get at the moment.

^^^^God forbid Shetland Milk gets rebranded

No, seriously I'm 99% sure it doesn't.

As a point of curiosity, what does a pint of milk cost in Shetland now? Last I remember was about 72p

Cheap compared to our local milk at about £1.20/litre.

As well as having huge megastores, Tesco also like to have lots of "convenience" stores, usually within walking distance of each other.

I think it's an even money bet that they will take on the Staney Hill shop for starters, then the shops on the street had better be on their guard, Tesco is a predatory and ruthless organization.
