Muppet
If the Co-op dividend is 2.63 pence per pound then you're getting more from the Co-op. I'm pretty sure Tesco's points equal 1 pence and it's 1 point per pound spent.
paulb
you could be right about the numbers never worked it out. but i do know that i have never had a problem with tesco in the past. and from just under two years as the main supplyer of 8 peoples food 1 pence. i perfer tescos they have aways paid up. suuusssiiieee
Remember the Dividend card has been replaced by the new membership card, perhaps if you call the freephone number on the membership leaflet they may be able to sort out or find out what went wrong in your case. Back to Tesco why don't they have chilled beer/wine ready to buy? Surely a "Market leader" like Tesco can find it possible to stick some in a chill as warm beer don't quite taste the same.... Guest Anonymous
RE. Salmon.... Firstly: "Jerk" yourself, if you want. Secondly: "Auld Rasmie" if you please... Rasmie is the user name of another completely innocent individual.Thirdly: I'm POSITIVE Shetland. That's why I'm Negative Tesco.Fourthly: Are you threatening me?? If so, perhaps it's time you thought ahead. I only have one reaction to threats, and you don't really want to find out what that is.

Du gets a bargain upö somethin ee day, so du buys it da neest day ithoot tinkin, bit whin du checks da till receipt eftir du's wun furt o da place, du realises dat dey pat da price up ower nicht ta mak up fur da offer da day afore.Da only honest retailer is da peerie local shop dat keeps da sam price day eftir day. An, i da case o wan Ness retailer, kept sellin 1.5KG boxes o whalp maet fur da price o 1KG, fur aboot a year, since dem pricin da boxes didna check da price book, an just pat da sam price upö da new boxes dey pat upö da shelf.Load bliss dem, wir dug wis weel fed, at 33% less dan da Co-op. "You are an old Stick in the Mud Rasmie"....if that's construed as a threat put wheels on your rocking chair and chunter around to your local corner shop. Infiltrator
Posiedon - where do you get your facts from? All I can find is this list from 2006 (Tesco were 33rd by the way) Perceived least ethical firms (poll from 2006 Gaurdian) 1. McDonald's 2. Nike 3. Shell 4. Adidas 5. Barclays Bank 6. Coca-Cola 7. BP 8. Camelot 9. American Express 10. Nestle Source: The Fraser Consultancy
Njugle
^Just to preserve clarity, the 'threat' quote is taken from Auld Rasmie's previous post and should perhaps have appeared as a quote to avoid confusion. Anyway, nobody is allowed to threaten anybody on Shetlink, or us mods will go round and fill them in*. *On the terms and conditions

Follow the thread back a wee bit and read it very slowly before you start portioning threats as such, the old fella has conjured up a threat out of nothing, (must be a wee bit worried about the mighty Tesco landing on the beach)...lock up your daughters and hide your bank accounts the dark shadow of TESCO has landed on our shores....oh what is to become of us? The powers that be (those that try and control the purchasing choice of Shetlanders) can rejoice in their success over Hodges attempt at enterprise within the Shetland Isles but TESCO (thank goodness) are not as much of a push over and have wiser legal clout.
