paulb
your all worked up over which is best. the co-op and tesco thank you for your efforts to promote there companies free of charge. as i said ages ago if tesco had not come we would have just been left with the co-op. do you think that the co-op would be so eager to upgrade their store if they had no decent compation they would not have bothered. Roachmill
^Bzzzzt. That's one life gone Most folk (even those that prefer tesco) are worked up over Salmons evangelical proclamations of them being the second coming wi only our very best interests at heart. Not to mention his impersonating tesco themselves

Guest Anonymous
May the good Lord above forgive me for this rather unforgivable take on the 23rd psalm, but: Tesco's (Salmon's) Psalm: Tesco's me Loard I sanna wantDey hird me tae dir tillTrow skelves o ower priced brukSae I can dö dir will. Dey gie me puirless wirtless sowlA wye ta fin a hameAn aese me burdened walletAa atil dir name. If I sud geeng ta idder shopsAs I maest laekly willA'll lae me doon upö me kneesAn pray fur dir till. Dey lat me set me table ootWe maet dat is sae dearAn lubricate me tonsilsWi unkan foreign beer. Trow aa me days upö dis eartTesco lords ower meAtil dir aesed me walletAn penniless I will be. Salmon
The coming of Tesco to Shetland hath made a very big difference to the trading position of the local CooP....the upgraded cabinets are very nice and the store layout is an improvement except for ........the Xmas crush trying to funnel hundreds of customers through 8 tills, maybe i'm a wee bit premature in my judgment of the update but i fear a bottle neck. Why also doe's the coop still use such a slow Debit/Credit card connection for it's customers at the checkout, you have to wait ages for completion of a transaction ...unlike TESCO instant responce terminals. Luv you too Auld Fella

Maybe they're not expecting hundreds....if you believed, and had convinced us with, what you preach, they'll all be doing their festive shopping at a certain wee shoppe on the South Road. tarotangel
I've not been to Tesco yet. Mam and Dad thought it was OK when it came but they've now prefer the Co-op for most things. I went to the Co-op last week and was very impressed with the refit they done (albeit so far).
