trout
Does anyone remember a program that used to be on around the start of the eighties .... this is one of those clear up an argument cases .... ... it was a family that was on holiday in Egypt and they were sightseeing around a pyramid when "all of a sudden" they - or potentially only a couple of them - where transported .... to either another world or to the future or goodness knows where?!?!?!? Anyway, these "people" had to endure a strange new world where they could only "integrate" with the populous by pretending they were part of "society"; until they succeeded "to get home". Society being a strange futuristic example of Communistic values .. i.e. the girl had to go into a shop and everything was "white labelled" and she had to buy any sorta generic hellery as her maet!!?! Told you this was a long shot and .... well... yeeessss! I don't even want to hear the word nurd!

McFly
Yes I do trout. One scene sticks in my mind of the woman asking what kind of meat was in the white-labelled tins, only to be told....."It's meat!". 'Fraid I've got no idea what it was called though, sorry

I couldn't mind anything other than the family joining a queue of people being allotted housing. That and the shop incident too http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088587/
