Thinking now we will try to go abroad instead as it costs less! If you're looking for accommodation in London, check out the Luna and Simone Hotel on Belgrave Road, about ten minutes' walk from Victoria Station. No frills and smallish rooms, but spotless, friendly, efficient, in a nice neighbourhood and cheaper than anywhere else decent. They have a website. colonel Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 Off to The Isles of Scilly on 10th October, for two weeks. First week on St Agnes and second week on St Mary`s. It is an annual pilgrimage that I have been repeating for 11 years now. Birding is the prime motivation (peak autumn migration period), however, just walking around these enchanting islands is a treat in itself.
