If I want to buy stuff, or learn about Jesus, I have the internet for doing this at home. I don't see why I should be made to feel awkward for not wanting a crappy spatula, or religious paraphernalia. Especially when I'm bathing the kids, or eating my dinner, or sleeping, or any number of things I don't care to be interrupted in the middle of.

Frankly, cold-callers (of all kinds) can sod right off and I don't see why I should be polite when they're the ones being rude in the first place.

Despite this, much to my chagrin, I always end up being polite. My wife always ends up encouraging them by buying stuff (which breaks within days) or taking leaflets... which is just asking for more hassle.
