Well done. This is supposedly the craic, as they say! ^^ Commodore - if you clear your cookies from your browser you destroy all reference to this site. Then you "should" start tabula rasa. Which browser are you using...? It's all very strange as I'm accessing the site from three different locations and computers with no strangeness .. hmm... where's yun yadook at? It really has to be an issue with cookies, as that's the way Shetlink knows when you last logged in. There's more than one Shetlink cookie. Did you delete them all? I've tried clearing my cookies and cache and all several times, but it seems to keep happening. There are posts that I've read about 5 times now that are still marked as unread. For example, in this thread, Commodore's post is still marked as unread even although I've looked at it quite a few times. If I leave a post, log out for a while then log in again, my post is also then marked as unread. This only happens for a few days though, then the unread cookies start to 'drop off', if that makes any sense? I reckon trout poisoned his tasty 24hr session cookie! A delicious trap!! Cunning. It has to be a cookie problem if it's only happening to a few of us, but could it be a problem with Firefox's ability to clear its cookies properly?
