KOYAANISQATSI
If just one pro McCann fan could even explain this one thing, instead of just shouting out the rest of us to find the body and answer ALL their unknowns for them: The father of Madeleine McCann yesterday appealed to the media to end its obsession with his daughter's disappearance.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=EITAOSKGZ1GEFQFIQMFCFFOAVCBQYIV0?xml=/news/2007/08/26/nmaddy126.xml The family of Madeleine McCann are to launch a fresh advertising campaign to help find the missing four-year-old.http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91210-1284258,00.html
KOYAANISQATSI
But I would rather read proper evidence, not just tabloid ramblings
If you care to bother reading my previous posts, most are about Gerrys own statements and McCann movements, nothing I believe came from Media opinion, it was Gerrys own words that gave him away. to say "they want to look back at the end of all this and say they did everything in their power", is him saying as long as they can say they tried. There was absolutely no hint of him thinking Madeliene was alive or was ever going to be found. Almost like he knew something, some might say. moorit
^ They may well have had something to do with her disappearance, but the practicalities of the theories being put forward seem unbelievable. As I said earlier my mind is still open on this.

Fair enough, I withdraw my comment about your involvement in child killing.I just never did like being told to go to me bed.
Fifi
If just one pro McCann fan could even explain this one thing, instead of just shouting out the rest of us to find the body and answer ALL their unknowns for them:Hmm, I'm starting to think that our KOY is either developing troll-like features or an unusually avid obsession with the McCann case.. Usually, in the case of a troll, the advice is 'don't feed the troll' - with no-one to argue with, they end up talking to themselves. Sound familiar? filskadacat
^ Since when did putting inappropriate remarks in inverted commas make them acceptable? Since this thread seems to have degenerated into a ‘my newspaper is better than your newspaper’ rant largely provoked by the ramblings of Koyaanisqatsi (I share the general perception that caps are rude), here is a measured piece from today’s Sunday Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article2459924.ece It’s long; for those amongst us for whom grammar and spelling may prove a little challenging here are some highlights. There is no shortage of online places where people may freely and anonymously air their opinions, even if their opinions are vile or demented or both; and there are millions of these newly voluble people. They have made it all right to say unspeakable things, to air the most shameful thoughts, always to think the worst, and never to give anyone a chance. With the McCann story, this has, for the first time, resulted in a complete blurring of the boundaries between news and gossip... The public, through the internet, can – and does – say anything, no matter how degrading or toxic, and keeps on saying it until, by a sort of insane osmosis, it stops being an outright lie and becomes a half-truth... People write about it LIKE THIS, in indignant capitals, as if it were so obvious as to be a given, and as though they were explaining something simple and obvious to somebody mulishly stupid who refused to see the truth staring them in the face. Behind the capitals, you can almost feel their quickening breath and their peculiar excitement as they comprehensively trash the reputation of a grieving woman who is a stranger to them. Until there are actually some facts in the case, perhaps it might be better to close this thread now in order to save people from compromising themselves further in public? KOYAANISQATSI
Since when did putting inappropriate remarks in inverted commas make them acceptable? Acceptable since people started attempting to place their own little troll labels on folk they dont agree with and your own ramble is no better I see you have also addopted the McCann stance of attacking those who aint buying the hype. Yes it's me the cops and the internet all in on a big frame up. The headline on your link was we are all guilty.Well we shall just have to see. And then attempting to get the thread closed:What was you excuse for censorship on this issue again.....in fact never mind. filskadacat
I see you have also addopted the McCann stance Which part of my post gave you the impression I had an opinion in the matter? Actually you have contradicted yourself in quite amusing fashion since according to you, Fifi does not have the right to point out that your opinions are, shall we say, a little lacking in intellectual depth, but you do, apparently, reserve to yourself the right to accuse me of a tendency to censorship. I do hope you are never called for jury duty (just to spell that one out, it involves setting aside preconceptions and prejudices, listening attentively to both sides and arriving at a decision based on the facts presented).
