hellsbells
I was watching the early morning news today and the McCann's are now asking everyone to put aside their opinions and go all out to find Maddie. At the start of this thread I, like many others hoped the bairn would be found, but as time wears on it doesn't seem likely. I for one have mostly agreed with KOYAANISQATSI's comments all the way through this thread as he has been 100% behind finding Maddie and wanting, like the rest of us for her to be found and questions asked over her whereabouts. I personally believe KOYAANISQATSI has made some very valid points over this emotive subject and also made some most of us wanted to. But like everyone else I hope the situation will be resolved for everyone's sake especially the McCanns.
spencey7
He says "they'll answer any queries.. and any tests they want to do" What kind of tests would that be Gerry? He's just explaining they intend to co-operate fully with the authorities - That it won't just be their word against the police. Couldn't he mean tests on the twins? Or on any of Madeleine's belongings? The car? You know you've got a strong case when an itchy earlobe is an integral part of your evidence. Talk about "making things fit". Christ KOYAANISQATSI - Did you buy the Iraq WMDs thing too? I'm not saying the McCann's are innocent, but damning them on the leaked "evidence" so far is irresponsible and quite frightening as a precedent. KOYAANISQATSI
P.P.P.SI shall not involve myself with any futher involvement on this thread as discussing the McCanns guilt appears heresy.

Njugle
It's like the 9/11 thread all over again. All we need now are some Portugese contributors. That's not a suggestion by the way, before anybody gets carried away. Ironic then that Koy's description of his opinion as heresy comes on a page where nobody has actually disagreed with him as such.Perhaps more hearsay than heresy, perhaps that's what was meant. If i also recall correctly, that's the third time a Koy departure has been declared. That's not a dig at you Koy, just an attempt to keep you objective. It's not a a subject personal to any of us, i'm fairly sure in saying. Perhaps we should all leave this subject alone until something actually happens for a rational discussion to continue. Not another slanging match. Please.

Medziotojas
Perhaps we should all leave this subject alone until something actually happens for a rational discussion to continue. Surely it's time to stop speculating over tragic events that have nothing to do with us. Have a dig at the (lack of) government or something. KOYAANISQATSI
Now look who's speculating:THE billionaire tycoon Sir Richard Branson is giving £100,000 to create a fighting fund to help the parents of Madeleine McCann to clear their names.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article2461207.ece spec·u·late:3. KOYAANISQATSI
Koy ... I'm not even going to highlight that "video" as a quote, because it really is sick...... Butters parents in the vid were speaking of their own situation, the McCanns as faces in the crowd were just incidental. Dont read so much into things. To think that it is my opinion on the McCanns is simply"Ludicrous"
