Muppet
About what? Am I missing something! It's not his to sell, and anyhow, who'd want to buy Bressay By the way, is this thread not in the wrong place?
RickB
Im assuming that its a weird joke (which I dont get). I think his dad is the sole land owner on Noss but I dont think thats the case on Bressay.
Ghostrider
<-snip> ....who'd want to buy Bressay I'm sure there's plenty who'd chew each other's hands off for it, "just in case" that fixed link ever materialises in concrete. *If* it becomes reality, house sites especially will be worth a small forture compared to present. Twerto
I bet the Harbour trust would buy it and then ask the council to build a bridge to it.
Caeser
Lerwick Port Authority has a secret option for all John Scotts land at Bressay. When the SIC finally get the fixed link across, only will this secret deal come to light and LPA will control any development and not the town hall. SIC position was for the securing of additional land for housing etc. The LPA I guess would be wanting piers, warehousing and Shetland Catch 2. Another guddle in the making!
