dB
Well done to the SPL for backing the club teams in Europe.... In light of the Aberdeen request being turned down I think du could de-pluralise teams. Just a tocht
Frankie
^Rangers' had Sunday's match against Gretna postponed before Wednesday's Champions League tie against Lyon after their opponents agreed to the request. But Motherwell opposed the Dons' attempt to have their game delayed. I'm sure if Motherwell hadn't objected then the SPL would have postponed the game. You probably knew that already though. shetlandbairn
Don't really blame Aberdeen for trying but, likewise, can't really disagree with Motherwell saying no. Nice to see all of Gretna's main relegation rivals picking up (unlikely) points at the weekend. Idiots!

dB
Well done Aberdeen - a brilliant result. That's how to play a home match in Europe when only one result can suit. Any chance you can keep it going against the huns...???
Tomblands
I have never...NEVER...been so proud to be a Don. 2 Pts max! 4 points. Served! Any chance the Mutton molesters will still be in Europe before the schools go back after summer? Any chance we'll still be in Europe when the schools break for Christmas? OH HELLO! shetlandbairn
My gambling theory of betting on things to happen that I don't want to served me well tonight! Got odds on 2-1 for the Dons to win. Fair play though, first half was pretty even but a fantastic second half performance. Glad I'm back in Shetland over Christmas so I don't have to suffer the Aberdeen fans though! And lets see... Game(s) postponed the weekend before to help = don't qualify.Play game = qualify. Wheesht
Well done ewe sheep. Dour first 45 but Aberdeen dominated the second 45 and scored a couple of great goals. Calderwood deserves his day in the spotlight, or is it artificail sunlight, for that win. Well done indeed.
