Guest Anonymous
wasn't al capone's right hand man from bressay? I'm sure your right. Was it baby face nelson? What about Pinky? There was a full page article in the Sun about him last month, following up on a feature about him in Loaded a few years ago. Not everybody gets that kind of coverage! Was there? Wouldn't mind a link to that if you can supply one - the notorious "pinky wiseman" - some boy! The Baby Face Nelson story is a myth i'm afraid. I was told for years that he was the son of my Great Great Grandmother. Unfortunately when i researched this i found out Baby Face Nelson's parents were actually Belgian. My vote for most famous Shetlander goes to Jonathan Sutherland, soon to be the new face of Sportscene. You heard it here first!!!

Guest Anonymous
The biggest Shetland Celebrity has to be Harry Hay, there are buildings all over Canada named after this celebrated son. First articlehttp://www.thebigpockets.com/?pg=2 Jeemie Coal (aka Elvis) comes a close second though.
