humptygrumpty
It defies belief that after £400 grand that this is the best that this country can come up with. No wonder johnny foriegner views the brits as a joke.
Carlos
I wonder if this is a designers design, or a "worst bits of a committee decision" that nobody actually wanted? I mean I know it was done by a design company and I am also sure that it went through about 20 layers of approval by various managers and officials (and ministers?)....... Styles
This is going to make us a laughing stock, its the millenium dome all over again. Reminds me of somthing from a 80's music video! I saw on the BBC news today what a guy came up with in half a hour and it was great. They should have had a competition with the public putting in entries and given them some sort of first class pass to the Olympics so it would have cost them peanuts. Fjool
The voluntary suggestions submitted to the BBC are all better than the official one. Without exception, they are all better. Most were done within 30 minutes, according to their designers. That really does say something the charlatans behind this design agency.
equilibrium?
I think the designer must have been a fan of the 70s kids tv show Tiswas.[/img]http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42348000/jpg/_42348232_tiswas_203.jpg Ebb
Roachmill
Not quite the Olympic logo... but another quality piece of design for the new Office of Government Commerce (OGC) logo: http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/5618/ogczj0.jpg Looks alright. Uninspired and lacking in imagination... but alright, right? Tilt your head to the left and look again More about it here
