khitajrah
I am so miserable today, I wish I had never got out of bed!Hmm, wonder if it's something in the air today. I'm a variation on your miserable - perhaps a tad more pissed off than miserable. Tomorrow's another day! I think I'm on the same boat... what an awful teary day I've had! Frances144
Jolly kind of you to ask!! Plaster off, no crutches but ankle swells up and is very stiff. Had Physio this morning and I have learned a few new exercises to try and strengthen it. Managed to go out to cut some spinach yesterday and nearly did it all over again, my ankle twisted inwards. Very nasty shock, very sore this morning. Stupid, stupid me! So, getting ready for Perth Show, Turriff Show and Black Isle Show, sort of nervously but taking a friend to do the donkey work! I will cook endless risotto out of Bachelors savoury mice and rubber sausage!!!! Roll on summer! PS I haven't ridden my horse yet - don't dare as he can bounce abit and hasn't been ridden for 3 months!!!!

Mine hasnt been ridden for 3 months either so I know what you mean! but am hoping to ride her this week or next week.. sent for parelli finesse reins as I dont like the rubber reins that I got with her bridle and plain leather ones are terrible if they are wet, so decided on parelli ones... I have a few good websites if you are interested.... have a look.... http://www.equine-behaviour.com/store/ http://horseandharmony.co.uk/shop/ and for pat parelli training sessions... and also other equestrian shows, including show jumping and dressage, and all other goodies.. go to channel 280 on your sky, or have a look on the website at natural horsemanship!!!!! I think its fantastic and have it on all the time! http://www.horseandcountry.tv/ ENJOY SWEETIE!!!!

I think its fantastic and have it on all the time! http://www.horseandcountry.tv/ ENJOY SWEETIE!!!! Well, I rode my 'oss for the first time today. He was not helpful, abit fast, but we went out on our own together for a potter. I managed to stay on but realised what my legs are for. He is very sensitive at the best of times so I made a concerted effort never to grip up and to make him tölt everywhere instead. Not a huge fan of Parelli - too much expensive equipment for what is really a bit of rope from Malakov. Also, in his ads, he never wears a hat and that is my absolute bete noir! All riding ads with no safety helmets should not be published, in my book. So, taken some painkillers tonight, made a vow to ride the 'oss daily and keep my nerve. DarkstarIII
Well done hunny... I am trying to find some good wraps for Grace's legs... was thinking equilibrium ones.. do you know of any?
Frances144
Not sure really. Don't use them on any of my horses/ponies. Sorry, can't be of more help. I do, however, use the Professional Choice over-reach boots - very well made but very expensive. I usually try Ebay nowadays. http://www.profchoice.com/ Fx
