Jono
According to their website, 24th September they're playing at Whiteness & Wisedale Hall: Although we’ve played gigs in a lot of places around the world over the last few years there’s still towns in Scotland that we haven’t played. To help redress this we’re pleased to announce a short tour of Scotland in September. We’ve tried to make as many as possible of the shows over 14’s or over 16’s. Here are the dates, 9th Stirling Fubar (08700 600 100 / www.pclpresents.com)10th Inverness Raigmore (0871 2200260)11th Fort William Ba Club (0871 2200260)18th Dundee Fat Sams (08700 600 100 / www.pclpresents.com)19th Aberdeen Moshulu (01224572876 / www.ticketweb.co.uk)21st Portree Community Centre (0871 2200260)24th Shetland Whiteness & Wisedale Hall (01595 692114) Tickets for the shows are priced at £15 and are available via the phone numbers / web addresses above, www.seetickets.com, the venues or a 24hr cc line 0871 220 0260. Tickets will be going on sale on Saturday 28th July 2007 at 9am and will be limited to 4 per person except Shetland which is limited to 2 per person. Also in September we’re playing a gig in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 2nd and Reykjavik’s NASA venue, Iceland, on September 14th. In the mean time we’re still in Glasgow writing new songs for our next album, some of which you’ll be able to hear at these shows in September. Hopefully see you soon, Bob Any idea whos promoting it? Medziotojas
Wow! I saw them at the Belfort Festival in France three years ago (when I went to see The Pixies). I can't believe they're playing Whiteness/Wiesdale. Nice one! Shame I won't be there.

Commodore
i cant believe they are not having it at clickimin, how many people can fit into the whitedale/weisdale hall??
Marvin
They requested a small venue. Whiteness and Weisdale hall is a good size (350 i think) and has a big enough stage.
sags
I'm quite surprised they've gone for the Whiteness hall, but there aren't many alternatives nowadays. There was a big problem with power sockets on the stage the last time I played there, I think they only had 2 two gang sockets, hopefully that's sorted now. Is this an over 18's event? OriginalUsername
Promoter is Davie Gardner. Over 14's event. Marvin's right, they requested a small venue. Davie got the "largest small venue" he could in the form of the Whiteness and Weisdale Hall - 400 tickets. All the info you might need can be found in the little ditty I just posted on the Shetland Times website http://www.shetlandtoday.co.uk Huzzah!
