Guest Anonymous
I have just heard that scientists are confident they will be able to make a breakthrough with nuclear fusion. I dont know much about it but apparently by using lasers they are going to be able to create massive amounts of energy with no nasty radioactive side affects and virtually no green hoose gas. Sounds almost to good to be true ! any body know any mair aboot this ??
DeMascus
The law of conservation of energy states: Energy can not be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.
Pooks
If I understand it correctly then Nuclear Fusion occurs when two or more atoms collide to create a new atom. This atom then has a smaller mass than the original atoms and the excess mass is converted into energy. Nuclear Fusion occurs the whole time out in that place where nobody can hear you scream. That big orange thing that we occasionally see in the sky for example.
Pooks
I presume that this Times article is what you are talking about?
