tirvaluk
Imagine how much Kris Boyd has earned Rangers.
tirvaluk
And Walter has tried to sell both of them??
Frankie
^^Did he ? More like David Murray needed to raise some cash. .......meanwhile Celtic are still on the hunt....... http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt82/Gonnae_call_me_Ishmael/game.gif
shetlandbairn
NACHO NOVO'S crucial goals have helped raked in over £25million to the Ibrox coffers since he arrived at Rangers almost five years ago. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2512154.0.0.php I was relatively happy when I saw Novo coming on for Boyd at the Cup Final... lasted about thirty seconds. Frankie
I found it kinda amusing to hear that Celtic had a player sent off for diving less than a week after the outrage they displayed at Eduardo's dive. A couple of interesting links. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8229575.stm http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1209835/Des-Kelly-Its-OK-cheat-us.html

Frankie
^^Disgraceful, ban him for 2 games. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/8058648.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/6995682.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8229575.stm Just a shame some other managers don't follow Walter's example. Marooned in Maywick
I'm waiting for Gordon Smith to ask UEFA to take a wee look at Killen's cheating simulation towards the end of the game. Unless he does something about it himself.
sleepychef
I could go and make a sandwich with half an hour to go. On Mousa? I presume that's the league over then? No waiting for the official report to come from the SPL observer to see if there's a case to answer for sectarian chants/songs? All the noises that were made about points deductions came to...precisely nowt. What a surprise. GFA? GTF. Racism aimed at the Irish is acceptable in today's Scotland. Then racism in Ireland against Scots is OK? I lived on the Aran Islands for over 2 years few chants nothing bad, then moved to smaller island still within the group wore my Rangers away strip during the day and got verbal and physical abuse from a group that evening finishing with a gun being pointed to my head and told to leave the island.Wonderful welcoming country! beachcaster
^ Thats not racism. Sectarian more like. I think anyone in a Rangers top would have recieved the same abuse, even if they were Irish. Wearing a Rangers top in a country with a population which is 90% Catholic and has a history of sectarian troubles is probably not the brightest thing to do. sleepychef
So i can't wear my own clothes? Gun to my head is ok? Sort it out with your reply unless you have something informative to say. There was no history of Sectarian violence or abuse in the Aran islands just some simple minded bigot who supported Celtic and took the hump that I wore my top when Gerry Adams press officer was on the island. Just to sum up the idiot who pointed the gun was sorted by an active IRA member who's son I knew and knew the difference between a football strip and paramilitary organizations. Frankie
Well that's the transfer window shut again and Rangers have managed to hold on to almost all of their top players. The only significant movement being Ferguson out and Rothen in. Over at Parkhead, Celtic have ditched Nakamura, Hartley, JV of H, Donati and O'Dea and taken in Fox, N'Guemo, Fortune and possibly Zheng. I would say Rangers are just as strong as last year, but the players Celtic have taken in are not as good as the one's who have left them. The title is staying at Ibrox. kirsty
Unfortunately, I have to agree with Frankie here, Celtic have lost too many class players and this Rothen from PSG looks a class act.
tirvaluk
I might have agreed 2 seasons ago, but last season Nakamura,JVOH,Hartley and Donati were passengers, the only one that tried from the 4 was Hartley, and he's past his best.I think this Celtic team are a lot stronger than last season, watch this space
Frankie
^^You might be right. Nah, on second thoughts I admire your optimism Tirvaluk, but it'll just magnify your disappointment again. I don't think they have replaced their ''passengers'' with anything better. Fortune the £3million+ player doesn't seem to be be a cert to start now. Fox is a full back, is he any better than Naylor ? N'Guemo looks a tidy player but is he any better than Hartley or what they already have with Robson ,Flood or Caddis ? Maloney has taken the place of Nakamura but he has hardly set the place alight with his performances so far this season.Zheng Zhi is going to sign, he's yet another midfielder. I thought Celtic should be signing a centre back instead of shipping O'Dea out.McGeady is really the only decent player that they have left but is his mind going to be straight now that he has finally been exposed as a cheat ?
