^^haha good one !

I'm actually a Rangers supporter.

I liked it in October and hopefully again in May.

Meantime, maybe you should pay attention to this.

Offensive sectarian language is still used in Scotland on a daily basis, with abusive terms such as “Hun†and “Orange bastard†being used negatively against Protestants (or those perceived to be) and others such as “Fenian†and “Tim†used negatively against Catholics (or those perceived to be). This reinforces religious and racial stereotypes as well as fuelling the divisions and conflict between the denominations and poeple of no religious denomination. Children commonly use words without any knowledge of their meaning, but with an understanding that these words are a means by which to insult others.

I'm not a supporter of any particular football team but, has anyone considered the financial impact Rangers demise would have on other Scottish football teams.

Also, the amount of money available from TV companies would probably be much less.

It's possible that many more teams would end up going to the wall.

It's a tax avoidance scheme. They managed to fob off the taxman for years, then, when he started to get serious they go into administration with no assets.

The owner is not to blame for the mess! He bought the club (for £1 ?)knowing this was 99% certain to happen. Craig Whyte made his money buying companies going bust. Not only is he the Rangers owner but his company are the ones owed 20m by Rangers.

He becomes their main creditor meaning when they do fold he gains all their assets and property and can then start the company afresh.

This is how he bought Rangers. If Rangers do this it means that the club's debt that is already owed to one of his other holding companies secures all Rangers assets to him if they do get wound up. The stadium, players the lot.

All he then does if he doesn't decide to develop the property is start a new club.

HMRC asks court to put Rangers into administration

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-17026172

Mr Whyte is believed to be a secured creditor of Rangers and could collapse the club if HMRC block a creditors agreement.

The chairman could opt to pursue the legal routes of receivership or pre-pack administration to avoid paying any tax liabilities.

These routes would involve Rangers' assets being transferred to a new company or companies and the old club - formed in 1873 - being left behind with the unpayable debts. It would, almost inevitably, be wound up.

In these cases, HMRC, as an unsecured creditor, would receive very little if anything.

The moves over administration from HMRC could be viewed as part of ongoing manoeuvres to exert some control over any insolvency process.

A pre pack administration is where the owner of a company has already agreed to take over its assets when it goes bust, carrying on the business without the debt.
