I just put any unwanted mail in to any Prepaid Envelope and post it on. I have got rid of it and the postman gets 0.0001p for delivering it as well. Keeps the postman in a job as wel :D

That's exactly what I do! Stop all this junk mail - nobody wants it anyway.

I opted out of spam mail almost a year ago and the sh**e is still coming through my letterbox, mostly leaflets delivered by the Post Office I have to say, the very people whose system I thought that I had opted out of! They seem quick enough to bill me for insufficient postage when someone sends a letter too thick for the postage on it or in the wrong-sized envelope.

I encourage you all to get rid of your old telephone directories using the post paid envelopes that get sent around. That is the sort of thing that will discourage random mail-shotting.

A brilliant idea and one that my father has been doing for years - except that he wraps up loads of old newspapers then sticks the pre-paid reply envelope onto the lot and sends it back!!! Like the idea of telephone directories though - nice and heavy so big expense to the company!
