Honky Tonk
Burley just confirmed at a news conference. I think this was the right appointment. He can also maybe teach the team to play good football rather than the boring, negative, hit-and-hope-win-in-France, 10 men behind the ball tactics deployed by McLeish & Smith. Do you want to be happy during the game or after the game ? Definetly during. We get humped for 80 minutes at least of all games and only get jammy with the results. At 1-1 against Lithuania at Hampden, it was the away team who looked most likely to score until McManus got lucky at the back post and McFadden did another of his hit and hopes. You play to the strengths of your team and Scotland aren't the silky playmakers that the Brazilians are. For long enough we didn't get any luck but when we do you complain about it. The team works hard, they're organised and play to a system that brings about stability and makes them hard to beat. Do you want them to be spread over the pitch pinging balls about then get humped 4-3 by the Lithuanians but it's alright because the football is prettier. EISTnWAST
Nah nah min. Honky Tonk is right. Don't you know that Greek people are posting on forums demanding for the dismissal of Otto Rehhagel. His boring style of football is so frustrating for them [like the pic spencey, just surprised you didn't save it for a Yell/Unst argument ]
Stoichkov
Scotland are never going to be playing good football in the near future. Does any team in the SPL or any Scottish division play attractive football? Just not part of the culture, plus we don't have any players of a good enough quality to play stylish football. I'd rather see Scotland continue to play the way they have been playing under Smith and McLeish, being hard to beat and getting results. A World Cup appearance is long overdue. Go down all guns blazing 34 goals for 47 against but entertaining defeats none the less
JAStewart
As a chelsea fan, I can totally understand the wanting to be satified throughout the match thing. We beat like, Wigan 1-0 and then Man Ure go and beat Newcastle 6-0. It can be annoying.
