trout
Heres a new site being setup by the SIC: http://www.shetland-news.co.uk/pages/news%20stories/03_2006/agencies_plan_community_website.htm I like the idea and the purpose behind this new site. A good central point for information. However, would anybody care to elaborate on what happened to all the money that was spent on the shetland.org.uk site? "The Official" shetland portal? Should that not be doing now, what this new SIC site is attempting to do? It's made by the same people! So does that mean the SIC have shelled out more money to them again? Hambone
The shetland.org site was a mess from start to finish. More jobs for the boys me thinks. Also sounds like the only way they could setup a site to compete with ShetlandToday and get away with it. Even if all the community groups were to come on board and pay a £1 a week for a website would that make it self financing ?
