On this i totally agree with you Jimmy, i loved sailing but all the aggro, enquiries and general hot-headed crap put me off. Fair do's to the serious guys, but i'd like to see them make the olympics if they play it like they are in them

Anyone here sail or used to? I did for 5 years when I was lil' bit younger and I even represented Shetland in Scotland! It was awsome, but I didn't like how competitive it became so I stopped it, i'm not a competition guy.

So you didn't win then ?

I used to sail maids all the time when I stayed in Shetland and I loved the social side of it, passing cans between the boats having to decide between the bottle of rum or the bailing out bucket when you capsize etc. I tried sailing when I moved south but most of the yachty types were up their own arses so it put an end to my racing days but you can't beat a cruise in a nice yacht up the west coast of scotland.
