JAStewart
they've not played there in the past 3 years I've been there. And the cross is crap.
sheepshagger
And the cross is crap. The cross at new year will only ever be what the folks that go there make of it, so if it is crap you have to wonder why, or do you
Guest Anonymous
I wish that there was a band playing, that would be awesome.I assume that statement would refer to some damned pop/rock hellery that sounds like a tom cat being castrated with a blunt knife.Da Cross is just for a piss up, don't degrade it by introducing 'sharn' music so that folk can't hear themselves wishing each other a Happy New Year. Joking,, Honest,,, Ducking for cover now.. (*** Mod - The 'auto translation' is to keep things polite here. furryboots
See in the Shetland Times that the Wheel is open for the bells. Looks like its the only place that is?!?
Ally
Da wheel was dismal for da bells last year. They made no effort to do a count down or anything, and most of the folk there weren't interested in it. Mind you, it's what you make it I guess. The parties after the cross are where the fun is I reckon...
