Den dey made tae- I've heard different fokk fae different areas say that in different contexts-

yes, a euphimism - but Is it used differently in different places?

In wir family da sayin is used tae 'draw a line' at da end o an event. I suppose da thinking is dat it's time for a cup o tae wance somethin is by we. It's also used tae lightheartedly brack da silence efter an argument.
