lumpsucker
We have a lot of terrible weather around here, It is a long terrible dark winter with some really crap weather, which does nobody any good at all. So I think any day that is hotter than 20'C in the summer should be declared a a local holiday. I heard that they do this in Faroe, so why not here. Pooks
Because it would be down to the council to decree when the weather pattern had lifted significantly above 20 degrees. This would obviously result in a consultation which would then mean that due to the council offices being built of a different material to the rest of the world they were entitled to a 365 day holiday while the rest of us had to make do with 19 degrees at the warmest point. On the plus side it might mean that the public has more say in the general goings on within the council...
Guest perrie-lipper
With any luck the weather may turn for the better here....I have an open mind on this matter, but all the same if it hits 20'c i think i would just ponder in the pond anyway regardless of work.
