a glessy boddamed box thingy (I forget the name right now)

That is the correct technical term which you used!

But they can probably be beaten with little more than "a bit of wit" - why is he doing this, anyway? Does he WANT to be invaded?

Further to my previous posts, I am somewhat at a loss as to why the twit hasn't been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Surely if he has now stated that he has placed devices to prevent a landing, he could be sectioned as not only is he a threat to himself, he is now publicly declaring himself as a threat to others.

I'm sure NHS Shetland could do a deal with an NHS Mental Health Trust in Essex - they usually have spare beds in Goodmayes Hospital Secure Psychiatric Unit.

^^I think Stuart is thinking shetland has no government, because the council here is part of the UK, so if shetland isnt part of the uk its nobodys, except landowners i guess. So he is taking over "Forvik" to start his own government until he can prove it, at which time he will claim the whole of shetland with his flag, like people used to do it :D

I think he has a point, but I think something should be done. especially if people cant even visit that Island without out contacting him 1st.

Ambush :D har har

God almighty....

I dread to think, I really do............................

Oh my gawd. Now should I be polite here? Does he have a mental health impairment and therefore as I enquired earlier, should be sectioned for his own protection?

...

On second thoughts ...

He totally off his rocker!

WE must assume that he is planning to either bun/blow up or ditch into the sea. Please dont give him your car anyone. Is there anybody who can look into what this idiot is planning and stop him. Someone will get hurt oneday.

I think the Police have a duty of care here. Is it the same in Scotland as in England whereby they can get him sectioned for a mental health assessment?

Failing that, surely they have a duty to investigate?
