DarkstarIII
What about SPAEGIE? Having just returned from snowboarding it is a word uppermost in my mind......legs......arms.....overall body area. And there's no English equivalent! Surely the ultimate Shetland word? Speaking of English words, OXYMORON - A figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear together (like friendly fire, council planning....you get the idea) Great names: LAITH SAMURAI, a fellow that works in Aberdeen. Bet he didn't get beat up at school Aye spaegie.... noo there's a word... and its SAIR!!!! I have had spaegie for the past week.... bloomin apex! 8O

Medziotojas
Spang - spontaneously take a bound, and change in direction without knowing where it came from - spring/bounce. At least thats my interpretation! ...2morrows word will be "remorse". It's a good Saturday word, often more meaningful on Sunday or even Monday! Medziotojas
This is the link I got it from. http://www.tiscali.co.uk/services/webspace/503.html It's basically a dictionary for crossword buffs but it seems to be temporarily unavailable at the moment. (You'll find it here, and many more) http://www.islandnet.com/~egbird/dict/dict.htm
Fjool
^ Sorry, dude. I deleted my reply because I didn't want to appear as if I were attacking your word as though it were invalid. I wasn't, it's a great word, just couldn't find anywhere it was referenced!
