These emails say that you have opened an online account with an airline (ie continental, Hawaiian, etc) and that your credit card has been charged for flights accordingly. The mail shows an e ticket confirmation and flight number. However this is not true as upon checking with my bank and confirming all was secure i was told it's a classic "fish mail". A zip file is attached which i did'nt open and i would advise no one else to either. Got another last night so thought i would share this info with you guys...... sludgegulper Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 Then there's the famous Nigerian scams where they want to deposit a vast amount of money into your bank account.Not forgetting the ones that ask you to update your bank details even though you don't bank with any of them.The ones from ebay members who say that you owe them money & to complete the transaction there & then.There are many more. I never open any emails from ebay, just delete them even when it's from legit sellers because it's generally sent to your ebay messages too so just read it there, and if it's not legit it won't be in there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
