Peerie Tr00ker
Hi I'm down at my Mum's in Fife and I've just looked out the bedroom window and there is one of those big limo hummer things parked outside next doors house. There is about 10 or so 6 year olds standing outside it for the wee girl next doors birthday. Is it just me or is that a bit over the top/americanised for a 6 year olds party? It just seems wrong to me

H20
I think its a great idea! If its fun for the kids then i say its a fab idea
JAStewart
Personally I think that its embarrassing to see but I people should be able to ride in a big silly fake-limo thing if they want to lower themselves to it.
dtothet
its really annoying in glasgow seeing a bunch of 10 year old girls driving around in a pink limo. its like they cant appreciate that its meant to be stylish and a status symbol, they just like to scream and listen to high school musical soundtrack ridiculously loud. khitajrah
^^ I think, perhaps, it's meant to be fun? Who knows, fun? eh? I can't see the difference between that and the "birthday buses", "hen nights" and "stag do" things they have up here, except perhaps the age of the participants and level of drunkeness. nederlander
Gotta love a good birthday bus and stag do! Do they not have stag do's elsewhere?
Styumpie
It's not so much the kids that want it, it's the parents, this whole keeping up with the Joneses thing thats so important nowadays. Pathetic.
khitajrah
^^ I know, naughty them. Tut tut. Wanting their kids to have fun and all. Put them out in the fields and have them work instead, is what I say!

I'm sorry but I'm going to second that point. I reckon those pass through the city centre pretty regularly and the kids are usually hanging out the window screaming. Then again, it's even worse when it's older folk. Party limos aren't as over the top as real limos would be though
MaxFusion
sorry but I'd have to Agree with khit.....what's wrong with giving your kids a bit of fun on a special occasion?if they want a limmo hired for their birthday it's not really that extravagant {assuming you were being Sarcastic Khit }
