60 North TV have a webcam entitled Up Helly Aa 2011 so I think it will be and if I remember correctly they said that after the success they had with it last year they were going to upgrade it

Does anyone know the name of the musical queue that tells the guizers when to throw the torch into the galley? is it an original composition for the event or is it a classical piece that I am unaware of?

it's called 'Fanfare' and is played by the Lerwick Brass Band........no idea of it's origins

Ironically, i actually googled "musical cue" before typing it cos it didn't look right and it popped up with "did you mean 'musical queue?', so i assumed the former was correct... How tragic is that?

 

Anyway... any answers, anyone? surprisingly quiet on this one (grammar-Nazis aside...)
