bradgate5
Anyone needing window blinds, especially genuine VELUX blinds, take a look athttp://www.blinds-2go.co.uk/delivery.htm Orders over £75 free to Shetland and ALL orders on genuine VELUX blinds free. VELUX are not cheap but if you have those roof windows it's a good bet. Some other firms do there own version of blinds to fit VELUX but cheaper, but may charge post/packing Ps not tried them yet! daveh
We have had a few things from Staples and found their service to be good.Their website is here:http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/catalog/stap_home.asp?ct=1 As regards additional delivery costs, their website states: small order handling charge of £3.95 (ex VAT) will be added to orders of £4.99 (ex VAT) or less and a charge of £2.90 (ex VAT) will be added to orders with a value between £5 and £29.99 (ex VAT). An additional delivery charge of £15 (ex VAT) will be added to orders from Northern Ireland and offshore islands (including Shetland, Isle of Man) and £48 (ex VAT) for orders from the Channel Islands. Their prices are quite good and tend to offset any additional delivery charges.

Lastditch
Ebuyer No Delivery Charges Ebuyer charge to deliver to Shetland even with the 5 day option. Bought a processor couple weeks before Xmas and on website it quoted free delivery but when in checkout there was a £3.50 charge.Bought it anyway as the delivery was reasonable. khitajrah
Mothercare has only charged me £4-95 to ship a toddler bed up and The Cot Mattress Company only charged £3-99 to ship a mattress. That's cheaper than the petrol to get into town and back isn't it?
shetlandcars
Yep, they appear to have altered their delivery rates and now do not have free delivery to scottish islands this probably prices them out of the market because anything over 500g will be sent courier at £12.99 which is excessive. Amazon seem best at the moment Ebuyer No Delivery Charges Ebuyer charge to deliver to Shetland even with the 5 day option. Fifi
MoreComputers.com for computers, hardware, cameras, etc etc. I ordered an Asus Eee 901 from them late on Monday afternoon and it arrived on Wednesday afternoon. One of the lowest prices I'd found for that model plus del was only £4.95 (+VAT) to anywhere in the UK. They've been on the go since 1992 and have won 'Highly Commended' in the PC Pro 2006, 2007 & 2008 best online retailer awards and were Pricerunner.co.uk retailer of the year in April 2006. http://www.morecomputers.co.uk/Awards.asp

Fifi
^^ When Tesco opened here, I asked if they would be including the optiion they have available normally for Tesco Direct - to be able to pick up Tesco Direct orders at the shop. They said at the time that it might be available if they got the extension, so it would be interesting to know if it will be available.
