EM
You snooze, you lose.If you mean I should have bought a ticket earlier then I will say that ticket-wise I am generally well organised. I note the act/venue and act accordingly. For example, I did manage to get hard-to-get tickets for Dylan Moran (Lerwick), Last Shadow Puppets etc., and even Live Aid. When Tim Utah DJ'd at Posers I was told I had bought the first ticket. In this case I delayed buying because I did not think Sound Hall was exactly small. N.B. Due to needing to be somewhere else I didn't actually end up going to either Dylan Moran or Live Aid.
nederlander
^ Why delay in buying if you intend to go? The article in the Shetland Times stated it was in the Baila room, not sure about any other advertisements as I didn't see any.
EM
^ Why delay in buying if you intend to go?Fair enough point, though the reason involved seeing who else was going in order to buy tickets in one go. any other advertisements as I didn't see any.Ha! I did, of course, check the place it should have been listed (Shetland Arts website) and finding no mention of it then checked where they had provided the Screenplay info, namely the Shetland News site as pointed to by PB above. soljey
On the posters provided by Shetland Arts it does say that it's in the Baila Room.
nederlander
Fair point EM! I hadn't read the SN report! Pretty silly of them not to include such a vital detail though!
tlady
All the best for your night soljey. It's a form of entertainment thats been lacking in Shetland.

Ertieiddabanks
keep us posted on how the night goes. Are any of the standups influenced by Doug Stanhope perchance?
breeksy
Its great that its a sell out - if I wasn't already busy I would have loved to go. As others have said, hopefully there will be more to come!
soljey
Many thanks to all those who braved the weather to come to the Sound Hall. It was a fantastic evening. Myself and the other debutants had a great time. Let's hope there's more of the same. Let's try and get a head of steam built up.
