Twerto
http://www.spotify.com/en/products/free/#top Simple to download and install, in no time at all you’ll enjoy having all the music in the world at your fingertips, instant access to whatever song you want with no restrictions, and the ability to create and share playlists with friends. Possibly the best thing on the internet this year. edit: It take time to get regerstration emails through.. but i will post up the 5 Invitation codes i am due to get soon i hope
Baron Farkoff
Cool! I was gutted when they stopped us being able to listen to Pandora. Is this similarly great?
Twerto
I never really used last fm before.. but i have read from others that this is far superior to that.. apart from you have to be connected to the internet when ever you use it. so not so handy if you use Last fm whiel you travel etc. But this seems to ahve a far bigger tune selection than last Fm/pandora but im sure someoen wil prove me wrogn with that
Baron Farkoff
I tried to get into last fm when "they" shut Pandora down, but it was such a pale imitation that I gave up. Thanks for pointing this one out!
Twerto
the bit i have been enjoying tonight is that you can pick any decade older/50's/60's/70's/80's/90's/00's then pick a genre and it plays stuff from that decade. excellent if your up for listening to tunes you probably would never come across normally. dtothet
when i heard how awesome last.fms similar service was, i signed up (as a beta user/subscriber too) and started listening. anyway, turns out the kind of music i want to listen to just isnt available on it not to criticise it or anything, it just wasnt for me

JAStewart
Yeah someone introduced me to Spotify last year. I'm quite happy with what I've got and when I look for new music I just go on Last.FM so I'm fine for now.
DamnSaxon
I like the Reciva Radio Portal - been listening to some fine reggae stations from here and there. Same need for continuous connection to the net, of course, so not for the drive into work unless you can afford satellite linked internet in the car. Pooks
I find the Screamer Radio application for windows to be quite good.
Guest Anonymous
www.jango.com is also well worth a try.I've been using it for about 8 months and having selected artists/genre/etc.. I have got it fairly well tuned to only play the things I like.It has the problem, like most sites of this kind, that it is a social site, and as such, friend requests are common. But, having said that, I have got to know some very nice people through the site.
