Stumpybob
No truth in this mainly as although Delting wouldn't like to admit it Girble has gone from being a figure of fun in the team to being well still a figure of fun but he's someone who is probably one of the first names on the Delting B teamsheet!! As for the Tizers we were mashed by the Ness B team (including a few A team players) and did struggle for numbers with Papa Jarvie playing part of the match and an injured Adam Doull playing the whole match. However after having four late work / hangover related call offs and having another 2 players miss the game due their inability to account for annual clock changes we would have had more than a full squad. Inshort Tizers numbers are actually okay despite losing 3 first team players to the Delting set up we've actually signed 3 very decent replacements only time will tell whether a push for silverware is on the cards. Still it's nice to see we're still the most talked about works league team on this forum. P.S Martin Binns has not signed for Wrultizers FC, I think it's tradition that someone announces this on the forum before every season so it might as well be us this year. Also our big preseason signing target of Ryan (Jozi) Joswick proved to be a step to far for our meager transfer budget!!
deltoid
Rumour has it that, Calum 'Girble' Clark has moved from Delting A to Wrultizers. From the mouth of the one in question he reckons he needs a new challange after winnin 6 in a row with the A's. Tizers are in need of numbers after their 8-1 defeat to Ness B at the weekend I can confirm that the legend in question was spotted at Tizers training the other night! It's true, It's True the Legend did make an appearance at Tizer training however this was to use the state of the art facilities and coaching to aid his latest recovery from injury. I can also confirm he did not pay the attendance fee and is now in arrears to Wrultizers FC for £2, Or is that a Transfer fee!!!! I'd also like to take a moment to congratulate Wastside for their marquee signings, dark horses for the Title!! Biggest Squad this side of the light blue half of manchester!!, only time will tell!! Dusty Rhodes
heard that there was a plan to change things about at the AGM. Not sure if i should imply that there was a plot to overthrow the old members? but i was wondering if any change was made in personnel and if so does it mean anything will change? or will it be the same decisions just made by different people? kirsty
What's the story with the Shetland managers job? The Shetland Times didn't give much information about that in the report of the A.G.M. Is Neil Bristow still the manager or not? Brian Duncan (new President) said he hoped he would be the manager. I was under the impression that Neil cannot give the time for us to attend Island games. If he cannot go, why not call for Derrick Bradley.
