Guest posiedon
prisons have better catering than this rig(sea hotel?)Can I make a guess? Is your catering provided by an "agency"? Who pay minimum wage and treat their (untrained/unqualified) staff like shiite. You guys working offshore do a difficult and dangerous job, the least they can do is to provide you with decent grub. sheepshagger
I doubt anyone out here is on minimum wage.Maybe one of the folk on Shetlink who work as stewards could confirm it but a steward earns the same more or less than a roustabout and the last time I enquired it was 27grand+ a year and that was a long time ago. CrunchieSquirrel
I hate the roast chickens on the Northlink, YYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! I am going to avoid them when I'm on the boat, I'll stick to eating crisps, drinking Dr Pepper/Diet Coke/Pepsi and eating my memorial Wispa . CrunchieSquirrel
Mung Beans, they take days to make edible and taste of nothing So you won't like Gillian McKeith then on 'You Are What You Eat'. I think she is anorexic because I think she said that she is a vegetarian (no wonder!)
Queenie79
Marmite.... A cross between creosote and sheep poop! I've struggling for many a year to say what it tastes like but I salute your description!!!
Strawb
I cannot abide lamb or mutton in any form, I've even been known to leave the house to escape the cooking smell. and liquorice - urgh!
CrunchieSquirrel
What about the Smash tattie mixing thingy? I can't believe the smell and the taste of it, it tastes like old people. (What's even worse is baked beans with it)

sassermaet
^^^ There's loads of things I don't like, to name a few: OlivesPork (that includes gammon, ham, bacon etc. the thought of eating the latter makes me ill)Avocados (only for eating, but okay in Original Source bath products, they apparently have restoratives in them)Brussels sproutsMushrooms (whole, but in soup they're magic)Tomatoes (whole or in sannies, but mixed into mince, bolognese etc they're great)Carbonara pastaBaked beans (yes, I'm a student. Your point?)Mashed tatties (I can eat them in any other form but the texture bothers me)Tofu (about the only thing I'd consciously avoid eating in Japan, apart from the rasher of bacon my host mother placed on my plate one morning) I'll tell you more as I remember them...
