did ony body else think dat da wye chelsea's players (especially drogba, ballack, an tae a lesser extent terry) behaved during an eftir da game da streen wis a total disgrace t fitba?

i'm certainly o dat opinion. certainly runnin 40 yards back up da park grabbin da referee an pullin him back becasue he didna gie a penalty (which wid have been harsh onywye) is totally unacceptable. a player should never, ever under ony circumstances lay hands on da referee.

as for drogba eftir da final whistle. what an absolute disgrace. does he hae no shame? obviously no, eftir seein a dat airm flailin, finger pointin, sulkin, shoutin an swearin.

i don't care how frustrated dey wir. dey ir professionals an in da public eye. dey ir supposed t be role models as weel. da cameras haed a close up o a peerie bairn in da crowd greetin his een oot, an da example set t him by da players mentioned above is nithin sort o shameful.

i hope dat dey are seriously and heavily disciplined by da club an by uefa.

Another high and mighty poster.

I don't agree with what they did but I can understand why they acted like they did. Aftering playing 90 minutes of football the adrenaline would be rushing only to have it stolen by a cheating ref wearing a Barcelona Shirt. I would be incensed by such a display.

Drogba will be fined, of course, and this probably paves his way to leave in the summer. He could be the best striker in the world if he'd lose his crapitude.

UEFA don't want him speaking so that he can't say he was paid off to make the Champions League final more profitable.

The reactions were over the top, but put yourself in that position, and I think anybody would find it hard to contain your emotion.

Reactions this strong are very rare, and I think this shows how appalling the refereeing was. Not 1, not 2 but 3 absolute stonewallers in my opinion. So the feeling of bias was clearly present in Chelsea's eyes.

The nature of defeat also added to the frustrations though, a team that played so well by restricting the best attacking side in the world to 1 shot on target the whole game. And this may have sparked te players the most.

I felt sorry for Chelsea.. for atleast 2 or 3 seconds, until i realised how good the final will now be. :D

Slightly off the subject, Andy Gray an Jamie redknapp's view that the referee's ineptitude was because he's from Norway... Pretty ridiculous? Or do they have different rules down in Scandanavia?

If Drogba never rolled about on the ground like he had been shot every 15 minutes then maybe there would have been less "injury time", there fore Barcelona would never had enough time to score.

Drogba is the "f*****g disgrace" for diving, play acting and adding on 4 minutes of injury time.

I think that Drogba embarassed himself big time last night!! An extremely poor example of "proffessionalism" in my opinion. Michael Ballack wasn't much better. These things happen in football, and without a little controversy what would the likes of Redknapp, Gray and thousands of fans have to speak about in the pub or on internet forums?! :?:

Darren Fletcher was sent off, and will miss perhaps the biggest game of his career (sorry but i can't see scotland reaching the world cup final) for a brilliant, fair and honest challenge. But, credit to the man, he didnt swear at the ref, whinge or cry but he was very professional and should be commended for his reactions in comparison with the chelsea players.

Although i understand the disappointment, i feel that the majority of the chelsea players let themselves and their club/fans down.

It has to be said that the Champions League final now contains, undoubtedly, the 2 best teams in the world right now. It should be an excellent game. 8) :) At least better than last years final, between Man U and Chelsea which was rather dull. This should be a spectacle

down in Scandanavia?

Lost your compass Gervais??  8)
