Marooned in Maywick
Aha - a better explanation of the living room analogy. 10/10 Fjool. So...can we have a conservatory where I can ignore some folk?

Para Handy
Can’t you use the bathroom, like everybody else in the UK. To ponder on the manifesto of life
EM
...does there exist the facility to place a user onto an 'ignore' list so that their posts aren't displayed? Were such a facility available I would not use it, but I would use an "Ignore thread" option, so long as it only applied to the "Latest Forum Posts" section. Removing the "buy/sell" posts was a big improvement. It would be nice to be able to similarly avoid seeing post listings to high traffic threads which I never read. Lapse Rate
I would like a 'Ignore posters who post just for the sake of posting' button. It seems some members just write repetative "I agree" or "That sounds like a plan" which doesn't add any value to the threads. It gets tedious when reading threads of interest. sassermaet
^^^ Tee hee But MiM has a point. There's a lot of the threads on here that tend to have regular heated discussion, and while a good few of us are up for that, a good few of us are not.
